Use these powerful Wob-L® Piston pumps for determination of maximum theoretical gravity for bituminous paving mixtures (Rice Test). For use in ASTM D2041 and AASHTO T-209 analysis. Oil-free vacuum pump 2562B-01 pulls down to maximum 7.5 mm Hg (7.5 torr) with flow of 2.3 CFM (65 l/min). Portable 2-stage pump is resistant to water vapor, includes muffler and hose barb for 3/8" ID Tubing. Pump should be purged with air for 10 minutes following each test.
