Provides controlled solvent stripping in flasks up to 5 L. Use 9 torr Model 2025 for solvents with atmospheric B.P. <120°C. Includes analog gauge and vacuum regulation. Inlet and exhaust separators protect pump and lab atmosphere.

  • Get top utility from your vacuum pump! Selecting a pump with proper flow and vacuum specifications will enable you t°Configure a manifold to dry samples in your centrifugal concentrator or dry gels. Use of a cold trap is recommended.

  • Rotary evaporators are typically used to remove solvents following chemical reactions. Combined with gentle heat from the evaporator bath, controlled vacuum is used to bring solvents to boiling or near-boiling. Efficient solvent distillation requires vacuum balanced to achieve sufficient pressure reduction and molecular flow w/o losing sample or overrunning the condensing capabilities of your rotovap.
