Microsart ATMP Sterile Release is designed for the direct detection of total bacteria and fungi in cell cultures, cell culture derived biologicals and ATMPs (e.g. autologous transplants),based on real-time PCR (qPCR).
With Microsart ATMP Sterile Release you can rapidly detect almost all critical bacterial and fungal contaminents within only 3 h. In a Real-time PCR highly specific TaqMan probes bind to very conserved DNA-sequences that are common for either bacteria (gram-positive and gram negative) or fungi. This kit is designed for contamination control of ATMPs. The PCR Kit validation based on EP 5.1.6., EP 2.6.27, USP.
