XALC-class labels offer a reliable solution for labeling microscope slides in diagnostic and research laboratories. They are resistant to common solvents such as xylene, xylene substitutes, acetone, toluene, ethanol, and other harsh chemicals frequently used in histology/cytology laboratories. Their permanent adhesive provides exceptional durability and resistance to histological processes, including dewaxing, H&E staining, and antigen retrieval procedures under high/low pH buffer conditions.
The label material does not absorb stains during H&E or other common histological staining protocols, ensuring that printed information remains clean and unaffected. These labels are compatible with most thermal-transfer printers, and when used with XAR-class ink ribbons, they produce high-quality printed text and barcodes that remain legible even after exposure to chemicals and intense processes.
