These deep-freeze barcode labels come in a roll format for printing with direct thermal (barcode) printers. The plastic waterproof labels are specifically designed to permanently adhere to vials, microcentrifuge tubes, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags and other specimen containers that will undergo long-term deep-freeze storage. These lab labels have a strong affinity for glass, polypropylene, polyethylene and other plastic surfaces.
These direct thermal cryogenic labels are ideal for long term storage and biopreservation in:
- Liquid phase and vapor phase liquid nitrogen (-320.8°F / -196°C)
- Dry ice
- Cryogenic freezers
Cryogenic Deep-Freeze Direct Thermal Labels are constructed from a thin thermoplastic film and an extra-strong cryogenic adhesive. The cryogenic labels will remain adhered to tubes through multiple freeze-thaw cycles without cracking or peeling off. These cryogenic labels are compatible with most cryogenic storage systems without any hindrance or risk of being scraped off. These labels do not require a self-laminate to work.
Warning: Direct thermal labels will turn black and lose printed data if exposed to high temperatures or autoclaving.
