Plastic waterproof labels specifically designed to permanently adhere to vials, microcentrifuge tubes, microtubes, microplates, glass tubes, freezer boxes, plastic bags and other specimen containers that will undergo long-term deep-freeze storage in:
- Liquid phase and vapor phase liquid nitrogen
- Dry ice
- Cryogenic freezers
Constructed from a thin thermoplastic film and an extra-strong cryogenic adhesive, they have strong affinity for glass, polypropylene, polyethylene and other plastic surfaces, and will remain adherent even through multiple freeze-thaw cycles, without cracking or peeling off. These cryo labels are compatible with most cryogenic storage systems without any hindrance or risk of being scraped off. No self-lamination is required.
Supplied in a roll format, they can be printed with all major brands of direct thermal printers or marked on with permanent markers such as GA International cryomarkers.
Warning: Direct thermal labels will turn black and lose printed data if exposed to high temperatures or autoclaving.
