Sealex is an extruded flexible PTFE cord which combines malleability and ruggedness, enabling it to be used in difficult sealing applications. Its high compressibility requires only light flange bolt pressure to seal effectively (essential for plastic, glass, or ceramic). Applications include pressure vessels, saturated steam, ductwork, heat exchangers, chemical/corrosive environments, and unconventional gasket requirements. Operates to 500 F/2000 p.s.i. Packaged on spools, adhesive-backed. FDA compliant.
