APG 11741000 1" Square Braided TFE Filament Packing, (10 lb.)

Interbraid construction. TFE fibers are treated with a TFE dispersion which fills and seals all interstices in the packing fibers. After braiding, a TFE coating is applied and the packing is forced air dried. This packing will not wick. Recommended for valves, expansion joints, and static applications. For all severe chemical and corrosive services where an inert packing material is essential. For temperatures to 500°F/260°C; PV factor 650,000; pH range 0-14. Excellent valve stem packing for all chemicals and corrosives; inert to all fluids except molten alkali metals.
