HG1360R Stretch Hook and Loop Velcro Heel Grounder is made from durable materials and features a Velcro stretch loop closure to maximize comfort and fit. It provides protection by connecting the wearer to ground via a proper floor mat or flooring material.
This heel grounder uses a conductive ribbon that goes in the shoe or sock to assure the proper electrical contact with the user. This ribbon is then connected to the rubber between the operator and mat or flooring to complete the circuit. The HG1360R comes standard with a buried 1 Meg ohm resistor and is worn on both feet to ensure consistent grounding while moving. It meets or exceeds requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20.
Please note:Heel grounders are dependent on foot perspiration in the shoe to create and maintain electrical contact with the body.
