The powerful and rugged Bag Rotator gently and effectively mixes transfer packs or other sealed bags, maintaining platelets and other sample components in suspension without risk of damage. Bags rotate "end-over-end" with a fixed speed of 3 RPM regardless of the number of bags for gentle yet thorough mixing without risk of sample damage or trauma.
A specialized wire basket has 8 compartments to securely hold up to 40 standard 300 ml transfer packs (5 packs per compartment) or equivalent sealed bags. This economical rotator is ideal for use with blood product samples such as platelets. Additionally, it may be used with almost any sealed bag that requires extremely gentle mixing, washing, or suspension of its contents. Suitable markets for the Bag Rotator include, but are not limited to, Hospital/Clinical, Food, and Environmental laboratories.
