Designed for fast and reliable venting and gas filtration. Sartorius Minisart® HY Syringe Filters are single-use, complete filtration units with naturally hydrophobic PTFE membranes and medical acrylic housing. Minisart HY Standard syringe filter with chemically inert hydrophobic PTFE is suitable for venting as well as filtration of gases and oils with a pH of 3 - 12. Type S6596 with a pore size of 0.2 µm can be used for sterile filtration of air/gas. It has a male luer lock outlet.
