The check valve is wafer style to fit between standard flanges. The twin disc check valve includes renewable bronze discs. Wafer checks may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up). Choose NIBCO® check valves for the most specified, versatile and economical valve option in commercial, mechanical and industrial applications. Twin Disc Check Valves can be installed horizontally or in the vertical position with flow up. For horizontal flow applications, the valve must be installed with disc hinge pin in the vertical position to insure proper operation. On pump discharge, the preferred check valves are in-line spring loaded.
