The NIBCO bronze horizontal swing check valve has a Y-pattern design with renewable Buna-N seat and disc. The swing check valve prevents backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. The check valve is recommended for fire protection trim valve service.
The bronze check valve features threaded end connections for ease of installation. It features a screw in bonnet for accessibility to repair or replace parts. Swing checks may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up).
