The Chemtrol® Tru-Bloc® True Union ball valve is engineered with a self-adjusting seat and upstream and downstream blocking capability to stop flow when an alternate union is removed for servicing the piping system. The valve's injection molded PVC construction with EPDM O-ring is ideal for use in chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, chemical drainage and irrigation systems.The original Chemtrol® True Union design allows the valve and operational components to be conveniently lifted from the piping system for repair or replacement. Tru-Bloc® advances the True Union concept with the self-adjusting energizer O-ring. The valve can be easily joined with the flanged end connections. PVC Schedule 80 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance properties and has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping systems.
