MTC Bio culture tubes are in both 17x100mm (14mL) capacities. Low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps can be attached in two positions. The first position allows for the flow of air both in and out of the tube enabling aerobic culturing. The second position offers a leak-proof and air-tight seal making it ideal for anaerobic culturing and/or sample storage.
Durable transparent polypropylene (PP) tubes withstand temperatures of from -86°C to 121°C.
Tubes are available without caps and graduation-free. Polypropylene tubes withstand higher centrifugal forces, up to 4000xg.
All tubes and caps come sterilized to SAL 10-6 and are RNase, DNase, pyrogen and cytotoxin free.
