Meiji Techno, TC-5500CW, Binocular LED/Halogen Inverted Epifluorescence Microscope with PE300W
The TC-5500CW is our latest Binocular Inverted Epi-Fluorescence Biological LED Compound Microscope line is the cost-effective TC-5000 Series. The TC Series makes routine examining of tissue cultures, microbes and other live specimens in petri dishes and culture bottles fast and easy while delivering an excellent performance-to-cost ratio. The TC-5000 Series is available in brightfield, phase contrast and epi-fluorescence models. The TC5000 Series Microscopes have an integrated front mounted camera port with adapters available for 35mm, CCD/CMOS and other cameras.
Epi-Fluorescent
Microscope with Epi-Fluorescence is an optical microscope that uses fluorescence and phosphorescence instead of, or in addition to, reflection and absorption to study properties of organic or inorganic substances. The “fluorescence microscope” refers to any microscope that uses fluorescence to generate an image, whether it is a more simple set up like an epifluorescence microscope, or a more complicated design such as a confocal microscope, which uses optical sectioning to get better resolution of the fluorescent image.
Intensity from a conventional lamp decreases through its life, which means that illumination varies dramatically over time. The lifetime of LED’s far exceeds that of these older lamps, ex. Mercury, Metal Halide, Xenon models and intensity remains broadly constant throughout its life providing a stable, repeatable light source. Some of the many fluorophores excited by the PE-300 Series are FITC, DAPI, Cy3, Auramine, TxRed, mCherry, TRITC, ChR, Hoechst, Cy5, Calcofluor, RFP to name a few.

- PE-300W/LEDTC: LED fluorescence illumination kit, configured for fluorophores such as DAPI, FITC, TRITC & Cy5, adds greater control options to the platform, 3 channel control pod allows selection and control of excitation wavelength whether its to balance your FITC against your TRITC or to minimize bleaching by exciting only the markers that you are working. Supported by popular imaging software giving integrated control with your imaging set up time after time. An additional benefit of the PE-300W/LEDMT is that stains can be viewed either individually or in combination, without filter cube changes. This makes it ideal for use with multi-band filter sets as the screening process can be simplified when fewer filter cubes are used. Independent control for the three LED channels means that the user can control the level of excitation of each fluorescent stain independently on a multi-stained samples, potentially removing the need for single band filter sets altogether. Instant on/off with the ability to optimize intensity and minimize sample damage via the simple desktop Control Pod with a manual control pod and power supply.

ThePE-300W/LEDTC white is a compact and simple to use LED illumination unit. It provides a broad spectrum of illumination, covering the excitation bands of common fluorescent stains. Operation is by a remote manual control pod with instant on/off and intensity control from 0-100%. Remote control is available via USB or TTL trigger.
The PE-300W/LEDTC white now delivers DOUBLE the intensity at the microscope sample plane. It allows adjustment of output in 1% steps, giving precise control. The broad spectrum covers everyday fluorophores: DAPI, CFP, Aqua, FITC, TRITC, TxRed, Cy5 and many more. 2018-2019 Meiji Techno America TC-5000 Series Inverted Biological Microscopes 144.
Simple to Fit: Direct fit means the CoolLED unit just attaches straight onto the microscope’s epifluoresence port in seconds which is optimized for light output for your microscope.
Simple to Use: Instant On/Off with the ability to optimize intensity and minimize sample damage via the simple desktop Control Pod, really simple to fit and use immediately with less down time for set-up.
DAPI can be excited at either 365nm or 400nm and microscopes typically have a filter set which allows one or other of these wavelengths to be transmitted. To accommodate this, the pE-300white can be specified in one of two waveband configurations to match with the user’s existing filter sets within the microscope.
A microscope which is populated with a number of single band (“SB”) filter sets will typically have DAPI excitation at 365nm and a microscope with multi-band (“MB”) filter(s) has excitation at 400nm. The user can specify the configuration which is appropriate for their microscope.
