• These versatile PCR work racks with lids are ideal for PCR prep and benchwork. Each rack holds (32) 0.2mL PCR tubes, (16) 0.5mL PCR tubes, and (24) 1.5/2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes. The racks are stackable and offered in packs of five fluorescent colors (green, pink, yellow, orange, blue)

Using a cold rack for PCR prep helps maintain stability of the mix.Globe Scientific PCR Cold Prep Racks are designed to be kept in a freezer until time of use. The racks will maintain 4°C on the bench for roughly 3 hours and change color as they warm from 4°C to 7°C.
