Features

• Designed to work with PVC/nitrile, PU and Fabric Jacket hoses
• For use on hose with wall thickness: 0.120" - 0.197"
• Field attachable design
• Cast Aluminum A356-T6 heads with 3 interlocking lugs, a safety latch (lock) to avoid accidental uncoupling, and 3 holes around the periphery to allow 7/8" bars to be used for coupling/uncoupling
• Aircraft grade aluminum 6061-T6 shanks are machined with undulating ribs to thoroughly engage hose between the collar and shank. Ribs have "knurled" texture on the outside diameter to assist in gripping of the hose under end loading situations.
• Shank ends have a significant radius and internal taper to minimize friction loss and ice damming
• Standard Storz gaskets molded from Buna A rubber
• Cast Aluminum A356-T6 collars are machined with undulating ribs to thoroughly engage the hose between collar and shank
• Hard-coat anodized to MIL-A-8625, Type III for abrasion & corrosion resistance
• All aluminum construction with stainless steel hardware
