Fast, reliable, method of measuring surface temperature of pipes and other rounded surfaces. The temperature sensor is protected from drafts and other heat sources by a barrier guaranteeing integrity of readings. Two different models are available which are designed to fit around a large range of diameter surfaces. The 2" 1/2 model has a rugged 304SS case and is supplied with a single 300 series SS spring for mounting rounded surfaces of 1" and smaller. Both models are supplied with a heat treated bi-metallic sensor.
