Big Horn 14339 Band Saw Replacement Tire for 16" Wheel

These premium quality bandsaw tires are made slightly smaller than wheel diameter to provide a tight fit. The tire may be trimmed to fit narrower wheels.

Features:

• These tires do not dry out, therefore, they will not crack, peel or harden as rubber tires do
• They hold so tightly to the wheel you won't need to glue them down. Colored bright orange for easier inspection

Steps to Install:

• Remove the wheel from the saw, This greatly eases the installation of the tire.
• Take an old tire off the wheel by prying it off with a flat-bladed screwdriver, being careful not to damage the wheel.
• Wash and clean the wheel thoroughly making sure that the face will fit is free of any bumps or pitch built-up that could cause a high spot on the tire when installed.
• Hook the tire in the groove and use a wooden dowel to roll the tire onto the wheel.
• Roll dowel around wheel under tire a couple of complete turns to equalize tension on the tire.
• Remove dowel being careful not to get fingers pinched when the tire snaps into the groove.
• Install wheel back on saw in the same location as before.

Always keep tires clean with Bandsaw Blade Cleaner. This will improve tire life and also help your blades to last longer.
