The 12-36x50 WP Naturescape ED Spotting Scope from Barska is provisioned with premium optical quality. The ED, Extra Low Dispersion glass furnishes exceptional clarity, contrast and resolution by minimizing chromatic aberration and commonly found visual distortions. Phase coating adds to the resolution by phase shifting or correcting the prisms reflected light. This results in an optimized optical path for the size and aperture of the scope. Fully multicoated optics and BAK4 Porro prisms deliver clear, crisp viewing. It is waterproof and fogproof for use in all weather conditions and comes with a table top tripod. The Naturescape Spotting Scope Series from Barska takes optics to a higher lever. Naturescape Spotters come with a phase coated BAK-4 prism and fully multi-coated optics with premium ED (Extra Low Dispersion) glass, which proves the viewer with exceptional clarity and resolution. Phase coating the Naturescape's prisms increases optical quality by correcting or "phase shifting" the light that is reflected off the prisms and optimizing it for the spotter's aperture size. Compared to conventional achromatic lenses, ED glass lenses minimize chromatic aberration and other forms of distortion, which results in higher resolution and contrast.
