A high velocity impinger used to determine the dust concentration in air, or in other gases. A glass plate is located at a distance of 5 mm below the orifice tip so that incoming particles are impinged onto the plate and are momentarily arrested, after which they are washed into the liquid. Total volume is approximately 500 ml. Bottle has a reinforced [ST] 45/50 outer joint at top. Inlet and outlet are both 12.5 mm O.D. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.
