A vertical, compact, screw feed funnel for the addition of powders and solids (up to 25 mesh) into reactions without seizing or binding. Features a flexible PTFE screw thread wrapped on a precision PTFE-ceramic shaft and contained within a precision bore housing. This offers a unique flexibility in that the thread can move aside temporarily as one spacing increases, the adjacent spacing decreases, thereby maintaining an average feed rate. Completely inert materials allow flushing with solvents without fear of contamination. #15 Ace-Thred at top offers easy disassembly for cleaning. Large 1-1/4" knob makes turning smooth and easy. Top side port is standard taper 14/20 outer joint, bottom inner joint is standard taper 24/40. Overall height, 9-1/2". Fabricated from borosilicate glass.
