This apparatus is used for drying air-sensitive compounds with inert gas or a simple pressure filter funnel. A unique feature is the use of o-ring joints to connect the cap with the body, thus creating a larger opening for easier access to contents. The serrated hose connection on the cap adapter is for use with 5/16-inch or 3/8-inch I.D. tubing. The o-ring joint on the cap matches the joint on funnel body, and is secured with a pinch clamp. Fabricated from borosilicate glass.The funnel will withstand pressures of 20 psi as supplied, but no warranty, expressed or implied, is made on pressure resistance due to the fact that surface conditions have a primary effect on glass strength.
