Straight-through ends for use as packing columns or operating columns. Column has #50 Ace-Thred joints on both ends. These columns are intended for operation at elevated pressures, and they should always be used with 5798 plastic safety shields. Use filter paper disc 5814 to retain packing. Approximate capacity is 31.80L. Column I.D. (measured at largest diameter) is 150mm, and effective length (distance between Ace-Threds) is 1800mm (72 inches). Maximum PSI is 100.
Caution: For Chromatography Use Only. Not intended for use with 40 micron or smaller packing which will cause operating pressures to exceed safe limits of glass. Always Use a Safety Shield.
