These particulate filters are designed to be easily replaced for a cost effective solution. Use 3M™ Particulate Filters 5000 Series with 3M™ Gas/Vapor Cartridges and the 3M™ Filter Retainer 501 to help filter certain particulates including dusts, mists, fibers, and metal fumes in addition to a broad range of gases and vapors. Or, use these filters with 3M™ Filter Adapter 603 and the 3M™ Filter Retainer 501 to help reduce particulate exposures only. These filters are easy to install, requiring minimal training. Plus, the 3M™ Particulate Filters 5000 Series are compatible with 3M™ Half Facepieces 6000, 6500/6500QL, 7500 Series, Full Facepieces 6000, FF-400, and 7800 Series, thus helping to reduce inventory needs. Compatible with 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepieces, 6500/6500QL Series, 7500 Series, 6000 Series Full Facepieces, FF-400 Series, 7800 Series, 3M™ Scott™ AV- 3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with AV-632 Bayonet Adapter.

These filters help provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and 50 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or require the use of a filter approved to 100 level filter efficiency (N100 to P100).
