The geriatric LOR (Loss of Resistance) insert for the Epidural and Spinal Injection Simulator P61 lets you practice with the specific anatomical deformations of the spine of an elderly patient. You can easily replace the standard patient LOR insert (delivered with your Epidural and Spinal Injection Simulator P61) with this optional geriatric insert. It represents the characteristic soft tissue structure (decreased resistance) and the deformed bone structure of a geriatric patient for advanced training possibilities:

• Th11-Th12: No access (frustration threshold)
• Th12-L1: Centered, normal
• L1-L2: Ambilateral, small (partially bony center)
• L2-L3: Centered, small (dorsal process L3 shifted to left side)
• L3-L4: Centered, partially bony (dorsal process L3 shifted to left side)
• L4-L5: Centered, transverse oval
