Step 1: When you get a combination lock, you can see the sticker with the lock’s combination number on the back of your combination lock. Write down the combination number and leave it in a place where you are sure no one can find it.
Warning! Remove the sticker from the combination lock carefully and throw it away. Don’t leave the sticker on the lock in case someone else finds out about your combination.

How to open Master Lock 975 Combination Padlock
Master Lock 975 Combination Lock has a wide brass body for superiorly high strength and weather ability. Step 1: Enter the combination (if it’s a factory-new lock, the combination is 0-0-0-0) and pull the shackle to open. |

Way №1: Unlock with mobile device
Step 1: Firstly, you must create an account at enterprise.masterlockvault.com. Then download the Master Lock Vault Enterprise app. on your Android or iOS device, launch the app, and sign in.
Step 2: In the Master Lock Vault Enterprise app. touch the sign (+) in the upper-right corner. Scan the QR code, from the gray box located above, on your mobile device to register the padlock. Touch the name of the padlock to access the details of the padlock and manage additional settings.
Step 3: Your padlock is in Wake Touch mode. Press any button on the keypad to unlock the padlock.
Step 4: The padlock will appear under the Awake Tab in the app. Touch the blue icon 🔑 to unlock the padlock. When the light turns green, you have 5 seconds to open the padlock or it will relock.
Way №2: Unlock with padlock keypad
Step 1: Enter the code, which is located in the black box above, into the padlock keypad and press the enter button.
Step 2: When it turns green, you have 5 seconds to open the padlock or it will relock.
How to replace the battery on your padlock:
Step 1: Low battery will be indicated by a yellow light on the padlock or through the app.
Step 2: Open the battery compartment, which is on the bottom of the padlock with a flat-head screwdriver and remove the battery.
Step 3: Install the new CR123A battery, making sure that the positive and negative sides are facing the proper direction as indicated on the battery compartment.
Step 4: Close the battery compartment and tighten the screws.

How to replace the battery
Step 1: The yellow light on the padlock indicates a low battery.
Step 2: Unlock and open the padlock. Pull out the battery drawer and remove the old battery.
Step 3: Install a new CR2450 battery with (+) side facing the back of the padlock.
Step 4: Close the battery drawer.
If you follow all the steps correctly, it won’t be so hard to open the padlock. Keep your items and doors safe!
How To reset Master Lock 175 & 176
Master Lock 175 and 176 brass locks are common choices for areas that have harsh weather or during the rainier season, due to their metal alloy made of copper and zinc that make these locks very durable.
Brass Master Locks are one of the most economic choices for your security needs, and due to the alloy’s durability brass padlocks are ideal for caustic and marine environments. Master Locks 175 & 176 are almost identical. The main benefit of purchasing a 176 is that it has a control key override just in case you don’t have the combination.
To reset the 175 & 176 you will go through the process using a K175 reset tool.
Step 1: Open the lock with the factory or previously set combination. The lock must be set to the current combination, or you can’t reset it.
Step 2: Insert the reset tool in the hole on side of the lock, push it in, and turn 90 degrees in either direction. The reset tool automatically stays in this position.
Step 3: With the change tool in the lock, set the wheels to your desired combination.
Step 4: Turn the reset tool back 90 degrees and remove it. The lock is now set to your new combination.
Now your lock may be opened when you put in your new combination. Make sure to save your specific combination.
