Eclipse® Precision & Analytical Balances

Designed for advanced scientists and researchers, the Eclipse occupies minimal space on the laboratory workbench yet maintains optimal performance. Its elegant capacitive touch keypad provides highly efficient operation and an increased lifespan of the balance. When a key is pressed, the pad responds immediately, even if the technician is wearing protective gloves. The smooth surface allows fingerprints and spills to be wiped off easily. With fewer parts than a traditional force motor balance, the Eclipse’s weighing sensor provides highly efficient mechanics plus improved electronic processing power, leading to superior performance. Other standard features include solid metal housing, adjustable leveling feet, USB and RS-232 interfaces, and a large backlit LCD.

Nimbus® Precision & Analytical Balances

A distinctive design with advanced features allows the Nimbus series of balances to bring a superior weighing experience to every laboratory. Analytical models have an enclosed weighing chamber made of clear glass to provide an unobstructed view of samples. With a reduced footprint, the Nimbus occupies less space in the laboratory than comparable balances while retaining precision performance. A single piece of extruded aluminum provides a solid base to offer greater stability. The weighing system is fabricated using hardened materials capable of tolerating rigorous laboratory use. Crafted from a single block, the weighing sensor in the Nimbus contains fewer parts than a traditional force motor balance, improving the lifespan of the balance. Highly efficient mechanics, combined with improved electronic processing power, leads to increased balance efficiency and consistent results. Communication with printers, computers, and other peripheral devices is facilitated through the standard USB and RS-232 interfaces. The Nimbus family comprises 15 models that deliver a full range of precision readabilities from 0.1mg to 0.1g.
