Functioning. This series of deep well close coupled self prime pump is particularly suitable for pumping water from deep wells. The deep well self prime pump have the capability of lifting water to a maximum of 45 meters. The pump is located on the surface with the ejector immersed into the well. The delivery of the fluid generated by the impeller is conveyed only in part to the outlet, the remaining delivery is recycled by means of a piping 1" GAS (M100 1"-1/4 GAS through the “VENTURI" system connected to the suction chamber which gives the necessary depression of the suction of the fluid where the ejector is immersed. The fluid sucked by the ejector gets mixed in the “VENTURI" diffuser with the recycling fluid coming from the pump body and consequently the pressure increases, whereas the pressure of the recycling fluids goes up and it gets sucked by the pump by means of a piping 1"- 1/4 GAS).
Applications. Water supply to remote dwellings i.e. farmhouses, general water supply, pressurized water using pressure vessels (autoclaves), horticultural irrigation, mist irrigation, dairy, farm also industrial applications. Water transfer and garden watering applications. Note, a foot-valve must be fitted to the ejector, also with a valve mounted on the outlet of the pump to ensure a suitable counter pressure during operation. The pipes connecting the ejector and the pump body must always be filled up before starting.
Construction. Pump body, pump support and ejector in cast iron. Pressed brass impeller. Diffuser in thermoplastic resin. Mechanical seal in carbon ceramic. Rotor shaft in steel fitted with seal for life bearings Totally enclosed fan cooled motor (TEFC) Single phase motors with a built in thermal overload protection on request, the capacitor is permanently in circuit. Motor protection to IP44. Winding Insulation to class F.
Installation. Upon installation always prime the pump body and pump pipework first before start up. Pump must be installed with the motor shaft in the horizontal position.
