Aries Carbon/KDF55 combination cartridges use ResinTech coconut shell granular activated carbon (GAC) in combination with KDF55 media to significantly extend the life of filter cartridges. KDF55 is a bacteriostatic redox media that inhibits the growth of microorganisms in the filter while removing chlorine and reducing heavy metals. Sized to fit standard slimline and big blue housings.
