The PM 4Y.KB Series Mass Comparator enables adjusting mass standards and weights per OIML recommendations (R-111) for class F2 and lower. Mass comparators are used both for ensuring traceability of mass measurements, and verification of weights in accordance with the principles of legal metrology. RADWAG Mass Comparators have gained recognition among accredited calibration laboratories in many countries. PM 4Y.KB Series Mass Comparator comprises two components: One holds the electronic module, and the other holds the precise mechanical measuring system. High measurement accuracy is guaranteed by a semi-automatic adjustment system with an external mass standard. The aluminum weighing pan is covered with a cork layer, along with centering holders for the weights. The APP 4Y.KB Series features an intuitive menu for user operation. Correct operation of the mass comparator requires applying a special anti-draft shield which comes standard with the instrument.
