The AKM-2 Series features an automatic mass loader enabling determination of mass deviations for standard weights with minimal operator intervention. A single weight is tested in a single cycle, and the instrument is commonly utilized in mass measuring laboratories, particularly for the certification of weight classes E, F, and M.
Design:
Supervision of the mass comparator is performed through a digital module which operates a controller of the mechanical components. This digital module along with an automatic loader are situated in the mass comparator weighing chamber. The automatic mass loader features a base with self-centering fields, a loading robot, and a steel body. The loading robot is controlled by the controller. The instrument is operated through a digital display plugged into the controller. As the supervisory elements are separated from the mechanical components, the weighing chamber is isolated from the influence of ambient conditions. Lengthwise shift of the loading robot with weights is carried out automatically using solenoid actuators. Additional software functions enable loading and taking off the weights, data processing and storage, and data export and archiving.
