SD200-001 Motion-Based Master Time & Temperature Sensor
S200 Series sensors are a small investment with a great ROI paid in energy savings. Hotels, resorts, schools, military lodging, commercial offices and other multi-room facilities have realized signifi cant energy conservation with cost saving sensors.
As part of an HVAC energy management system, occupancy sensors enable facility managers to automatically control HVAC operation based on room occupancy. Passive infrared (PIR) sensing technology and intelligent logic control software make PECO sensors able to verify the occupancy status of rooms. If the room is physically occupied, then the system will allow occupants to control the climate. Once a room is vacant, the Series 200 communicates with HVAC and automatically performs a setback. Thus no energy is spent to climate control an empty room.
SD200 is commingled equipment for standalone Intelligent occupancy verify cation. SD series sensors include options for delay to On, delay to Off and high/ low temperature setbacks. These custom configurations allow the installer to determine how the HVAC will operate based on occupancy.
A door or window switch expands functionality to disable HVAC operation in the event a door or window is left open more than five minutes.
