Oatey 43905 is a 4-IN ABS Backwater Valve.

Oatey® Backwater Valves are designed/manufactured as sewage check-valves to prevent pumped water from flowing back into a basin. Assembly includes threaded cover to allow for access and valve flapper which seals closed while not in use. Made of ABS plastic, the 43904 can be solvent welded to piping. Oatey® Backwater Valves can accommodate access sleeves made of Schedule 40 pipe.

Features:

• Elastomeric seals in quick action flappers ensure watertight sealing;
• Valve hubs fit DWV pipes and can be adapted for sewer/drain pipes;
• Threaded access cap incorporates a neoprene seal for positive sealing and can be tightened or removed by hand.
