Oatey 31231 is a 8 fl. oz. Great White® Pipe Joint Compound With PTFE – a white-color, non hardening, non separating, non toxic paste for lubricating and sealing all types of threaded joints.

These thread sealant compounds are designed/manufactured for sealing threaded connection types against leakages due to inner pressures, for permitting tighter assemblies with lower torques, securing permanently sealings of all threaded connection types and allowing for easy disassemblies without stripping/damaging threads.

Features:

• Able to withstand up to 3K PSI on gas types from -50Deg to +400Deg F, and 10K PSI on liquid types from -50Deg to +500Deg F;
• To be used with water/steam/caustics or dilute acid line types of PVC/CPVC/ABS/cycolac/polypropylene/iron/steel or copper.
