Oatey 31177 is a 9-OZ. Stain-Free Plumber's Putty – an oil-free, not staining plumbers putty formulated to be used on natural surface materials found in sinks/countertops/strainers. Unlike regular plumber's putty, Oatey® Stain-Free will not result in staining these materials.
This putty uses a new, oil-free formula that is safe to use on any natural porous surfaces, including: Granite/Marble/Quartz/Sandstone/Corian® and any other natural, porous surface (NOT TO BE USED ON ABS). The patent pending, not staining formula is ideal to be used on all surface types found in any sink, bowl, countertop, strainer and shower base. It preserves flexibility longer and will not result in cracking or shrinking. Plus it is cleaned up quickly and easily.
Oatey Stain-Free Plumber's Putty is a stain-free sealant for setting most types of plumbing fixtures, with just the right amount of tack to adhere and shape. This Putty preserves flexibility, so it is easy to work with, molds easily, and cleans up easily. It provides a water-proof seal between two rigid surfaces.
