Tub-N-Tile 6oz. Caulk, Tube
Oatey Tub-N-Tile Caulk is a flexible, acrylic latex general purpose sealant recommended for caulking bathtubs, sinks, showers and lavatories. Tub-N-Tile Caulk can also be used on most common building products such as concrete, metal, wood, marble, glass and brick. Tub-N-Tile Caulk is mold and mildew resistant.
Directions for use:
Clean off any dirt or dust particles with water. Do not use soap. Using a utility knife, remove any remnants of old caulking. New caulk will not adhere well to previously cured caulk. Once all caulk residue is removed, clean the area with a mild abrasive or rubbing alcohol. Use a concentrated mildew remover if the area shows signs of mildew. With a 45° angle, cut the tapered nozzle of the caulk tube to the width required to fill the crack or joint. Hold the tube at a 45 angle and use even pressure to apply caulk. Move the tube at an even pace along the joint to be filled. If the bead of caulk is too narrow, re-cut the nozzle to provide a larger opening. Allow the caulk to set for sufficient time. Product should be protected from water for a minimum of 8 hours to allow initial curing. Tub-N-Tile Caulk can be applied at temperatures between 40°F to 90° F. Full clarity of sealant is reached in 3 to 7 days. Sealant may be painted over with latex or oil based paint one hour after sealant is tack-free.
