The Chemtrol socket tee and reducing socket tee are injection molded PVC Schedule 80 thermoplastic fitting for use with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage and waste water treatment systems. The dark grey PVC tee features female socket connections and exhibits high corrosion and chemical resistance properties. Chemtrol fitting connect PVC piping lengths together with solvent cementing, threading or flanging to create a highly reliable, leak-free system. PVC Schedule 80 has the highest long-term hydrostatic strength of any other major thermoplastic material used for piping.
