The NIBCO® Press System copper female adapter features an inboard bead and yellow HNBR O-ring. Simply applying pressure from a pressing tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, robust seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. The female adapter has a press connection and female NPT thread. These fittings provide a method for adapting a press connection to a threaded connection. NIBCO press fittings are the fastest, easiest way to join copper tubing systems. NIBCO® PressG fittings are designed to join with seamless copper water tube in residential and commercial gas and compressed air systems. The press fittings can also be installed underground. NIBCO® PressG fittings are user friendly, quick and easy to install. When properly crimped a unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible.
