Sample Cylinder Heater Lab Power Supply, 100 to 240V AC Input (50/60hz) / 12V DC 10A Output
The GCH-LP-120 Gas Cylinder Heater Lab Power supply is used with the GCH series sample cylinder heaters. In addition to providing power for the heaters, the GCH-LP-120 controller monitors the heater's temperature sensors to determine the cylinders temperature and regulate the heaters to maintain the cylinder at the set temperature. The setpoint temperature can be easily adjusted using front-panel push-buttons.
To use the GCH-LP-120 simply connect a GCH heater using the included cable and turn on the power switch. The GCH-LP-120 will monitor the cylinder temperature and control the heaters to keep it at the set temperature. Refer to the GCH heater manual for details on using the GCH controller with the GCH heater.
Changing the Temperature Setpoint
To change the temperature setpoint simple press and release one of the buttons. The currrent setpoint with an “s” in front of the value will be displayed. The top button can then be used to increase the setpoint and the bottom button reduces the setpoint. Each button press will change the setpoint by 1 degree. To save and use the new value simply wait 5 seconds. The controller will return to the temperature display and the new setpoint will be used as well as saved for future use.
Maintenance
If the connectors need to be cleaned, use an electronics contact cleaner that leaves no residue and that does not harm plastics.
Fuse Replacement
In normal operation the fuses, located on the GCH-LP back panel, should never need to be replaced. There is a seperate fuse for the AC supply and heater power. The heater power fuse is inside the round fuse holder. It should be replaced with a 10A 5.2 x 20mm fast acting fuse. The AC supply fuse is inside the power connector housing and should be replace the AC fuse with a 1.6A 5.2x20mm fuse. A spare AC fuse is included in the fuse holder
