Open center spider offer shaft positioning flexibility but have a lower RPM capacity (1750 RPM maximum for NBR, 3600 maximum for Urethane/Hytrel)

Urethane has greater torque capability than NBR (1.5 times), provides less dampening effect, and operates at a temperature range of -30° to 160° F (-34° to 71° C). Good resistance to oil and chemicals. Not recommended for cyclic or start/stop applications.
