Features:

• Serial Data Interface at 1200 baud (SDI-12) is a standard communication protocol for integrating digital sensors with compatible data devices.
• The 200SS-SDI adapter has a builtin SDI-12 interface, designed to communicate with up to three 200SS-WATERMARK soil water potential sensors.
• 200SS-SDI adapter board with unique addresses may share a common 3-wire SDI-12 bus (power, ground, and serial data line) which enables a two-way communication between the adapter board and data logger

The 200SS-SDI adapter allows two different measurement options to be monitored, the raw electrical resistance and the soil water potential measurements provided by the internal calibration. For an increase in accuracy of the WATERMARK's soil water potential measurements, the soil temperature sensor compensates for temperature variations within the soil profile. If the soil temperature sensor is not utilized, a default temperature of 75°F/24°C is applied.
