Featuring an innovative weight-distribution design, the CEM120EC2 Center-Balanced Equatorial GoTo Mount from iOptron benefits from an upgrade over the original 120EC model to make it more precise when it is slewing and tracking with the addition of a second high-precision encoder so that both the right ascension (RA) and declination (dec) positions can be constantly monitored by the Real-Time Periodic Error Correction (RPEC) system-greatly improving its precision for long-duration observations and long-exposure astrophotography.
