Lead Paint Check meets the critical USEPA requirement that the False Negatives is below 5% (actual False Negatives determined and reported by the ETV study was 2% and 1%). Our test kit does not meet the False Positives goal of the USEPA to be below 10% (actual False Positives determined and reported by the ETV study was 14% and 16%).

The eXact® LEADQuick™ photometer is the ideal meter for testing lead amounts in paint. This modified method accurately detects 0 to 500 µ/L (ppb), with resolution of 1 µg/L and accuracy of +/-3 µg/L. The procedure is simple and readily detects EPA 15 ppb levels. It’s also an accurate and reliable screening method for Cadmium and Mercury.
