If toxic gases, are to be monitored outside Ex zones, the EC22 transmitter is a reliable and economical solution. In combination with GfG's proven controllers, installation in new gas detection systems as well as retrofitting in existing systems is possible.
The EC22 uses the electrochemical process (EC) to detect toxic gases.
Functional safety and device protection
The hardware of the EC22 complies with the European Functional Safety Standard DIN EN 61508-2: 2011 (SIL). The housing is protected against the ingress of dust and water protection class: IP54.
Communication and service
Signals are transmitted according. The transmitter indicates operating states via two status LEDs.
