The DVI/VGA KVM Extenders allow to extend DVI-D or VGA video as well as USB keyboard and mouse without losses.extenders transmit up to 800 meters over 50/125um cable or 400 meters over 62.5/125um cable, and using single-mode cablesextender sends crisp, clear, high-resolution video up to 10 kilometers away! Thanks to the digital transmission of the video signal without any losses in the quality, images are as sharp as if they were directly attached to the workstations. Thevideo compression algorithms also support 24-bit color depth for smooth color gradients up to DVI resolutions of 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz over the full distance. For compatibility, a refresh rate of 60Hz is also required for VGA. The integrated loop-circuit enables to attach a second monitor near the PC. If want to connect also a local keyboard and mouse O/S must support multiple USB keyboards and mice. The DVI-D KVM Extenders support the USB HID interface to extend standard USB keyboard and mouse as well as some other USB HID based peripherals like touch screens. These extenders are also ideal for 19" rack mounting. The optional rack-mount kit (ACS2009A-RMK) takes up to 4 transmitters in only 1U. Instead of powering each unit separately,may also use three units plus the power supply ACS2009A-PS.
