APG Stainless Steel Worm Gear Clamp (2 1/2 - 8 1/2" Diameter)
APG Worm Gear Clamps offer an extremely cost effective alternative for a variety of reasons.
First - they offer All Stainless Steel construction at a price that is cheaper than most competitive brands with carbon steel components.
Second - APG market research determined that sales of worm gear clamps with 9/16" widths were predominatly in the larger diameter sizes. Consequently, as can be seen in the chart below, APG larger diameter clamps have 9/16" widths. Additionally, the 9/16" clamps have a minimum range of 2-1/2".
These factors combine to eliminate the need for an inventory that includes clamps with carbon steel components as well as clamps that are stainless steel (stainless being preferable if the price is right).
This allows an inventory with one worm gear clamp style as opposed to four styles. All clamps are stamped with the range in both millimeters and includes, the APG part number, and the APG logo.
