Styles 500, 600, and 700 have durometers of 50, 60, and 70 respectively. General purpose molded silicone sheets. Silicone gives a high temperature stability and general inertness. Outdistances other elastomers in general service life, compression set resistance, electrical strength and non-stick properties. Good fluid and chemical resistance. May swell with contact to some solvents, but will return to original dimensions, usually without permanent deterioration, after the solvent has evaporated. At elevated temperatures, silicone will outgas for less than other elastomers. Odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic. Unaffected by sunlight, ozone and/or extremely moist or dry conditions. Will not support the growth of fungus. Styles 500, 600, and 700 have a tensile strength of 700 PSI. Maximum temperature range: -100°F to +500°F.
