These reusable raschig rings provide random and custom column packing for distillations. Proper distribution of rings allows for greater efficiency during fractioning. As condensed vapors run down the column, they cover the surface of the rings. The rings become wetted, and as boiled vapors pass through the wetted area, they tend more towards equilibrium forcing less volatile material downwards and more volatile material upwards.
